Our Advocacy
CMANZ represents the cardiomyopathy community by advocating for improved policy, equitable access to treatments, and stronger, more coordinated health systems across Australia and New Zealand. Our advocacy includes
- contributing to PBS processes,
- making submissions on key government policy reforms,
- participating in steering committees for health system planning and service reviews,
- supporting research that informs better models of care.
We also bring real patient experience to conferences and clinician education to help shape practice and drive change.
By actively gathering the views of our community, we ensure the patient voice is consistently represented in strategic decision-making and long-term system improvements.
